“Modern Hypnosis” Workshop Mumbai
3 day Intensive Practical Hypnosis Workshop.
The Behavioural Science Network (www.psymind.org) has organised an intensive 3 day workshop on “modern hypnosis”. The focus of this workshop is to enable you to safely induce deep trance and achieve various states of consciousness which make it possible to use hypnosis for healing, achieve goals and deal with stress.
Hypnosis today is highly effective methodology that rapidly enables one to get powerful results with a wide variety of human problems and conflict. Hypnosis has many applications in medicine and psychotherapy from rapidly controlling anxiety and pain to finding creative solutions to dilemmas. It also has applications in sports, motivation, learning enhancement, building confidence and stress managment.
This is a practical 'how to' workshop: where you will learn how to do, you will get lots of experience to be able to effortlessly hypnotise anyone. The workshop will give you an opportunity to experience the hypnotic trance and self-hypnotic healing. We follow an eclectic approach to hypnosis therefore you learn techniques from different schools of thought.

Date and Time: 3rd to5th July 2012 (Tue-Thu) 9.30 am to 5.15 pm.
Venue: Lokhandwala Complex Andheri (W) - Detailed directions will be emailed to you on registration.
Fees: Rs. 4800/- (Early registration discount Rs. 3800 if your cheque received by 22/06/2012). The fee includes a simple sandwich lunch and handouts. Cancellation fee 20% upto 48 hours before workshop, 60% refund thereafter. We keep our fees low so that many can benifit, over this we have a few need based partial scholarships, first option is given to people working full time for NGO's focused on the poor. A certificate of attendance that will be given to participants who complete the course to our satisfaction.

Dr. DAYAL MIRCHANDANI, M.D., DPM, FIPS. (http://psymind.net) will conduct the workshop. He has been teaching hypnosis since 1984.He has been practising Behavioural Medicine and Psychiatry since 1981. He is a Director of the Behavioural Science Foundation and has been actively involved in training and therapy in the field of psychotherapy and hypnotherapy.
He has been a Member of the Board of Studies (Psychology) of both S.N.D.T. University and University of Mumbai (Bombay University)and on the Committee for the selection of teachers in Psychology at the Mumbai University. He was Director, Psychotherapy course, Dept of Continuing Education, SNDT University. He is a life member of the Indian Society of Clinical & Experimental Hypnosis.
He is the author of Healing Heart Disease Naturally (1997) and Super Performance Learning (1999) published by India Book House Publishers. He is the co-author of Group therapy of addiction and a manual for the prevention of addiction sponsored by IFLD PARIS. The USIS invited him to America under its International Visitors Program in 1990 to discuss his work on psychotherapy for addiction.
He co-founded the National Addiction Research Centre (NARC) and continues to be a governing body member of NARC which runs a 20 bedded in-patient research facility with extensive community outreach programs. He writes a regular column for Reader Digest.
Following this face to face workshop we plan a series of low cost advanced online trainings to enable participants of those trainings to become highly trained professionals in the use of hypno-analysis, Ericksonian & NLP approaches among others.
Certification: In India hypnosis is not a regulated profession and there are no laws regulating the use of hypnosis. Ethically any one may use hypnosis for stress relief, enhancing sports performance, building confidence and motivation. Legally health professionals may use hypnosis for medical or psychological issues depending on their basic legally recognised qualifications. More here
